The Hans Christian Andersen Museum is located in the beautiful fairy tale town of Denmark Village. The streets are full of buildings and shop windows. The museum is organized by the Ugly Duckling Foundation, whose purpose is to promote the publication and distribution of Andersen's works around the world. The museum has a total of 18 exhibition rooms, which display a large number of manuscripts, correspondence, and paintings of Andersen's works, as well as oil paintings and sculptures about Andersen's life created by some famous Danish painters and artists.
