Come, Run with me in Singapore!
When we visit a country abroad, we tend to go to the popular tourist spots we see online and that’s a fact. However, with my multiple trips to Singapore (in which I am thankful for the chance), I fell inlove with the outdoor activities such as running. So whenever I travel to SG, I always include outdoor exercising, running and strolling in the parks as part of my itinerary.
I have also recommended these to friends and they so love the idea because coming from a country where these activities would be considered a luxury, we feel glad to experience these for FREE atleast in Singapore without people actually looking at us.
We usually run in Punggol area, mostly around Waterway Park and neighboring parks. Here are some snippets for you.
The next time you travel to Singapore, be sure to run, bike or stroll their beautiful parks, it would make a different kind of travel experience.

Nice and quite place, suitable for outdoor walking and cycling. Available place for sitting for take a rest also companion with scene of water surrounding. Suitable for family recreation and close to plaza able to have lunch or dinner afterwards.
A large park, this is also a very popular park, recognizing the importance of the water environment, and the park has a lot of plants, the environment is quite good, and the air is very fresh.
Nice place to walk, run, cycle with family and friends. Surrounded with trees. Walk further up to see a tortise pond.
I stay nearby the Punggol waterway park, it has very nice scenery and very suitable for jogging at night. Feel very safe also.
Punggol Waterway Park is considered one of four parks that are connected by the Park Connector Network’s North Eastern Riverine Loop. The waterway, which flows in the park, serves the neighborhood by offering a green space as well as increasing the waterfront. This beautiful park is composed of four different sections that take account of Green Gallery, Nature Cove, Recreation Zone, biking, and a whole lot more.
