Around 1828, Muslims built historic shrines from southern India. From the original timber to the present architecture, it has been rebuilt several times, probably the oldest religious monument in Singapore. Unfortunately, when I went, the Nagotka Hall was closed.
It's too early to open the door, but the architecture is very distinctive. It's worthwhile if you have a chance to ask someone to say it.
Nagotka Hall is actually very small, more like a religious museum, there is only one staff member, very enthusiastic explanation, leaving also sent a propaganda doctrine book.
Nagotka Hall is very close to the famous Bullcart Water. It has been established for more than 100 years. It is a holy place belonging to Muslims in South India. The architecture seems to belong to the classical design style. There are some sculptures on the exterior walls. It is a very beautiful European-style building.
Nagotka Hall is one of the earliest mosques in Singapore. Now this is the National Historic Site of Singapore. You can come here to see it when you have time.
