Sihong

Sihong County is located in the northwest of Jiangsu Province, along the lower reaches of the Huai River. It is situated in the region where the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone and the Jiangsu coastal economic belt intersect. It is well-known for its towns that product Chinese wine and crabs, as well as its ecotourism towns. The area is a base of innovation, realizing the idea of “clear waters and green hills coming from mountains of gold and silver.” Sihong County is China’s wine capital. One of the top ten wines in China, Shuanggou Daqu, is produced here. Sihong County is home to the Hongze Lake Wetlands, a national-level parkland.
