We were looking for a quick bite and ended up sharing a pizza on a Saturday evening. It was busy but we got a table at 8pm on the main square. It was a little loud but overall great atmosphere and delicious food!

I am a guide and bring my guests to Il Banderino every week. It has a broad menu, great service and food. To be in a very &quot;touristy&quot; part of Siena, Banderino continues to be my &quot;go to&quot; for an experience in the Campo. Bravo!

I am an American guide living here in Tuscany. Although Il Banderino would be considered &quot;touristy&quot;, there is NO better location to be found in Siena, as you sit inside the Piazza del Campo. The food is excellent and service great. I typically add a visit there with every guest. For a special treat, the Cacio e Pepe cannot be beat! Simple, but well done!!
