Prasat Preah Palilay

This temple is located not too far from the city center, it is just about 13 kilometers and 400 meters north of Phimeanakas temple. There is also a Buddha statue in front of the entrance gate.

Palilay temple is one of the amazing temples that was built during the Angkor period. This temple was built in the middle of 12th century from sandstone and laterite by King Jayavarman VIl.

Behind the King's Platform, the middle passes through the north gate and the city wall of the Royal enclave. It is one of the most artistic temples in Angkor. It is about 200 meters north of the northern wall of the imperial enclosure. At first, there was a Buddha statue in the temple, but it did not know where to go long ago. Several huge ancient trees make the central temple stand out. This is a good place to take photos. It began to taste like a combination of trees and temples. It's been taken away now.

Preah Palilay is also translated into Saint Pauli Temple. In Angkor City, its location is relatively remote and easily overlooked. Maybe it's because it's in the woods, where the air is wet. The temple is small, like a ruin, with trees growing on it and few visitors, so it is quiet.

This monument is a Buddhist monastery built in the early 12th century. It is small and almost in ruins. Moreover, it is relatively remote and time-constrained, so donkey friends do not have to go around it.
