Gobbs Bin, also known as the Qian Linga River, is the source of the Siem Reap River and is located in a lush mountain about 40 kilometers northeast of Siem Reap City. Gobbsbin is famous all over the world for its exquisite stone statues of gods and thousands of Linga carvings on the riverbed. It is a typical reproduction worship relic. Friends who are used to seeing the temples and monuments of Angkor Wat may wish to come here to climb the mountain, play in the water, and enjoy the coolness. Compared with the hustle and bustle of Lychee Mountain, it will be quieter here. The high-water season from July to December is more suitable for visiting Gobbsbin. Since it is far away from the urban area, it is generally necessary to charter a car to go there. It belongs to the "outer circle" tour route of Angkor Wat. You can take a car for about 15 minutes after visiting the Queen's Palace. At the bottom of the mountain, it takes about 40-60 minutes on foot to reach the top of the mountain, where the Stone Sculpture River is located. Since you can't go in around 15:00, it is recommended to come as soon as possible. The hiking trail is very primitive, but it has been clearly identified by tourists; the tree trunks along the way are painted with red paint to guide the correct way; there are management personnel in the mountains who can ask for relevant information. There are dense forests on both sides of the mountain road. There are many tree roots and many strange-shaped boulders on the way. In the process of climbing, you can overlook the valley below, which is pleasing to the eye. Climb to the top of the mountain along the winding jungle trail, and you can see the Stone Carved River. The upper reaches of the river are carved with statues of Vishnu and other stone carvings, some of which are covered with moss and look very ancient and mysterious. Due to the previous man-made damage, the area is now roped off and tourists cannot enter. Down the river, you can see more spectacular carvings, not only Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva, but also images of Rama, Lakshmi and Hanuman. The river is gurgling, and many slates are covered with dots, which are Linga carvings. It is said that there are thousands of them in Gobbsbin. There is also a small waterfall under the stone carving river, and the top of the waterfall is engraved with many animal patterns. A nearby wooden staircase leads to the bottom of the waterfall, where many people take pictures. The downhill road is a little different from the uphill road. All the way along the river, there are more dense Linga under the rushing water, and you will feel the uniqueness of the Qianlinga River. In addition, you can often see creatures such as butterflies with bright colors and large bodies in the mountains, which is another fun.
The first day I went to Cambodia, I went to Gaobu Shore. Unlike the temple that didn't know what it was, this recognition was very high. At the end of the various trees, there were various streams and the air was fresh.
1500 meters of mountain road, it took others twice to climb to the top, the result of the mountain top really nothing to see, thought that the top of the mountain will have some spectacular monuments, the result is to see these things, there is a small waterfall. Along the way, I met many local big children to play here, in groups, it is really carefree!
Originally not in my itinerary plan, because I saw that everyone on the Internet said that it was not very good-looking, the driver insisted on taking us... The difficult walk was about1.5 kilometers, and finally saw a small waterfall-like attraction was drunk.
It took us about 4,50 minutes to reach the Qianlinga River scenic spot, which means "Bridgehead" in the sense of Gobbsbane. The so-called Bridgehead is the natural stone bridge on the side of the stream here. Because it is dry season and dry season, we can not see waterfalls between streams, nor can we see the flow of streams. Compared with the water season of Gobbsbane, the scenery is much worse. But the stone carvings at the bottom of the stream, Linga and Youni, and on the riverbed, can be seen very clearly. Scenic area sculpture in the passage of time, serious theft damage, now around the riverbed around Shiqiao, has been limited protection through the circle (so-called circle, but only a circle of thin ropes), tourists can visit outside the circle. The stream continues to move forward arbitrarily, but the road is unable to go. Time does not allow us to continue exploring. It is time to return home. On the way back, our Explorer Xiao Zhang found another beautiful scenic spot. With his surprise and greeting, we turned back and took a few steps to find that we were on the edge of a cliff. What was dangerous was that it was also a beautiful scene. The Valley is full of green trees. Looking at the mountains, the air transpiration in the mountains is like a fairyland. It is different from the previous rainforest landscape. For a moment, it seems like a green city in China, Emei. On the way downhill in Gobbsbane, crutches are absolutely useful. Especially the crutches Xiao Zhang picked up for me, I'm afraid the effect is not inferior to the climbing sticks I bought before. With this climbing stick, the way down the mountain became smooth.
Gaubsbashibin is known as the Mountain of Thousand Yang. The forest flail (penis) is the symbol of Hindu gods. Gobuspian is located in the deep forest more than 40 kilometers northeast of Siem Reap. On the way, the trees are flourishing, the vines can fly as swings, and there is a flying boulder in the road with a strange shape. Arriving at the bridgehead, you will see beautiful sculptures of gods. Down the stream, there are hundreds of stone carvings of forest shackles carved on the riverbed. It is said that the holy water flowing through the forest shackles can wash away the dark and evil, purify the gods and be protected by God. The cultural landscape here is not comparable to that of Angkor Minor. However, arranging this scenic spot in the middle of the way will help to alleviate the visual fatigue that stone architecture and sculpture may bring. Chen likes the primitive feeling here very much. The unusual old trees in Tabulus are everywhere here. The roots and branches become more slender and graceful. The roots of the trees cover the whole hillside like octopods. This is actually the origin of Khmer culture. The sculptures are very primitive and crude. It takes two hours just to climb down the mountain, which requires little physical strength.
This is the birthplace of the Siem Reap River, unlike other monuments of the holy place, the general Angkor miracles are mostly temple buildings, used to advertise the king's great work; Gaobosbin is carved on the river bed full of gods, so as to show extreme loyalty to the faith.
It takes about half an hour to get through the virgin forest from the foot of the mountain to the carving, and onwards you can see the sculptures on the river, with images of Romo, Lakshmi and Hanuman.
One is basically the mountain on the road that tourists step out, but there is a sign for every 100m. It takes almost an hour to go up the mountain, but in fact, the top of the mountain is not covered with Linga on the river bed. The main attractions need to spend a dollar to ask people to lead the way. Tip, from the 200m road sign fork in and out, is the mysterious trail Europe.
