At the foot of Jishan Mountain in Shaoxing, is the place where the calligrapher Wang Xizhi once lived. The scenic spot itself is a public street. There are old buildings with pink walls and black tiles on the roadside. There are residential houses and small shops where you can buy snacks and drink coffee. Walking on the street, it is also interesting to recall the stories of Wang Xizhi's inscription fan and Jiezhu that happened here. The north of the block is Huancheng North Road, the west is Jiefang Road, the south is Shengli East Road, and the east is Xingzhong Road. Near Cai Yuanpei Square is the former residence of Cai Yuanpei, a quaint Ming and Qing Taimen building, which displays the life stories of Mr. Cai Yuanpei, a leading scholar in the academic circle, and a statue of Mr. Cai in the hall, which is quite scholarly. In front of the former residence is Feibi Lane, and the Qianye Guild Hall next to it is now a coin expo hall, where you can learn about the development process of Shaoxing Qianzhuang. Going all the way to the north, passing the Jishan Academy and the Zhuangyuan Pavilion, the birthplace of the Jishan School, you will come to the Wenbi Tower at a high place. This pagoda looks a bit like a writing brush. It is the landmark building of Jishan Mountain and a good place to climb high and look far in Shaoxing City. Climbing to the pagoda, you can overlook the panorama of the entire block, and the tall buildings of Shaoxing city in the distance are also vividly visible. Go south and go back to West Street, and walk east along the broad Shiban Street to Jiezhujiang Temple. This was the former residence of Wang Xizhi. In front of the temple, there are Goose Ponds and Mochi Ponds, which are almost integrated with the surrounding old dwellings. Continue to the south along Jishan Street in front of the temple gate. Along the road are Hidepo Lane and Tifan Bridge, which are famous for Wang Xizhi's inscription of fans. There is also Sanhuai Hall where you can see well-preserved buildings and wood and stone carvings. Walking to the Wang Xizhi Exhibition Hall in the Xieqiao Lane, you can not only see the calligraphy works and life of Wang Xizhi's father and son, but also have a calligraphy experience area where visitors can experience the charm of calligraphy creation.
