Shanghai Fire Museum

No. 229, Zhongshan West Road, the command center and the office building of the Shanghai Fire and Rescue General Team; with its towering "watchtower" and round apron at the top of the building, it has become a unique landmark building in Changning Hongqiao area; part of the building 1-3 floor, it is called the "Shanghai Fire Museum". The museum has more than 21,000 pieces in its collection, and has many modern Shanghai fire relics with great historical value, including early personal fire equipment, fire trucks and automated firefighting devices. In the 2400 square meters of display area and 3 exhibition areas, through the physical, pictures, multimedia and other forms, the fire hazard, escape skills, fire knowledge, show the brilliant achievements of Shanghai city fire industry incubation, maturity and development. Shanghai Fire Museum is located next to the fire station in Changning District, Shanghai. If you don't want to crowd people during a long holiday, Shanghai Fire Museum is a place where you can pass the time and increase your knowledge. Here you introduce the history of firefighting and learn escape skills.

There are 3 floors on the first floor and a fire truck. There is a theater on the second floor. But there is a time period. After we visited the third floor, we found that we missed the time, so we couldn't see it. We had to go back. There are many collections in the museum, including fire-fighting relics and paper materials and photos.

Shanghai Fire Museum is a first-class specialized museum in China with the world's advanced level. There are more than 21,000 pieces in collection, including many modern Shanghai fire-fighting relics of great historical value. Through the exhibits in various exhibition areas, visitors can get a comprehensive understanding of Shanghai's fire protection from its birth, development to brilliant leaps. The museum has three floors, all indoors. The first floor is a model of a fire truck. You can see the wooden mechanical rocker in 1930. The second floor is a small movie about fire prevention knowledge. The third floor is a history and development of Shanghai fire.
