Guangxi Planning Museum

Guangxi Planning Museum is a new exhibition hall in recent years. The exhibition area is divided into 3 floors and is large in scale. Whether you are a local or a tourist, you can have an intuitive understanding of Guangxi's past, present and future through the vivid display here. Guangxi General Information Hall, Guangxi Planning Hall, Science Popularization Experience Hall, Friendship Gift Hall and Guangxi Pavilion of Shanghai World Expo are located on the first floor. In the Guangxi Overview Hall, visitors can learn about the evolution of Guangxi's organizational system through pictures and texts, as well as miniature models of famous historical buildings in Guangxi, such as Taizhen Wu Pavilion, Yan's Nest Building, Gongcheng Confucian Temple, and Liuhou Temple. In addition, there is a 20-meter-long arcade, and a 3D image is playing in the center of the arcade, showing the bustling scene of the arcade commercial street in the social and economic development of Guangxi. After passing through the Guangxi Overview Hall, you will come to the Guangxi Planning Hall, where the planning process of Guangxi, major regional planning, and important new urban area planning are displayed with sound, light, electricity and sand table. There are some interactive experience projects in the Science Hall at the back, which are very popular with tourists. Go upstairs to continue the visit. The huge sand table model on the second floor is eye-catching. Visitors can find 14 cities in Guangxi on the sand table. With the dynamic lighting effects, it brings double audio-visual enjoyment. The third floor is the Window of the World and ASEAN Cooperation Exhibition Hall, the "Eleventh Five-Year" brilliant achievements and the "Twelfth Five-Year" Economic and Social Development Planning Hall, the Beauty in Guangxi Hall and the Future Cinema Hall, mainly for enjoying multimedia films. The Future Cinema has two 3D short films to watch (15 yuan, 4 shows a day).
