10 minutes walk from Kuzuo station. It is said that Japanese paintings and pottery collected by the Yoshizawa family, the old local family, are on display. Unfortunately, we couldn't visit the museum because it was closed due to the damage caused by Typhoon No. 19 (as of November 9, 2019).
Collection of the Yoshizawa family, an old house living in Kuzuo

It is a museum that exhibits mainly the collection of the Yoshizawa family, an old house living in Kuzuo. There are also works by the Kano school in the Edo period and works by Jakuchu Ito, which I think is quite spectacular. You can walk from Kuzuo Station on the TOBU Line.
A small museum. The highlight is the Namushi score of Jakuchu Ito. Imaichi ・・・ if it is worth the admission fee. I would like to stop by the Kuzuo Fossil Museum, which is free to enter across the street.
This museum is recommended for those who are interested in Japanese art. You can take a closer look at wonderful works in a calm environment that is not crowded. Among them, Jakuchu Ito, who is said to have passed the boom. I was surprised that his Namusufu was a collection of this museum. It is one of the masterpieces depicting vegetables, fruits, insects, etc. 々, but it is better to inquire in advance whether it is actually on display.

In the old days...
Kuzuo was another city, but now it's Sano. I went here for other business, but it was good to kill time.
