Palazzo Pubblico

The public palace (National Government Building) is San Marino and the most famous landmark on the Titano Mountains, built in the late 19th century. It is the heart of the country. Major ceremonies and national events in the Republic of San Marino are held here. If you are lucky, you will probably close this place in case of government activities.

The Publico Palace is also known as the Public Palace, the City Hall and its official government building in San Marino, and is the seat of the main institutions, parliaments and administrative bodies of the Republic of San Marino. The public palace was built between 1884 and 1894, with a city wall in the main part of the building and the bell tower above. The overall design of the palace is similar to the Vico Palace in Florence, but much smaller.
