The Midway Island Aircraft Carrier Museum was once a symbol of the US Navy. The aircraft carrier Midway, which was officially retired in 1997, has experienced a 42-year military career. Today, visitors can visit the bridges, flight decks, hangars, air traffic control stations, strategic command centers, engine rooms, officers and men's quarters, naval commanders and captain's bedroom.
