We were on an impromptu road trip from the Bay Area to SoCal and back up again. Deep creek hot springs was probably the most marked and “popular” one on the map, so we decided to check it out.Our initial plan was to park and follow the Bradford ridge trail, but because we were unfamiliar with the land, we opted to go to Bowen ranch. Upon arrival a nice lad was there to collect our money. $10/person, cash only. He gave us a simple map(looks like he draw it himself), and told us not to get lost. He also mentioned that camping was not allowed, but many people camped in both the parking lot and down in the valley.
