This restaurant is just about 1 block away from Staples Centre and I visited this place before attending a Clippers game. The restaurant is very crowded and busy when I was there, perhaps due to the game. I sat at the sushi bar and kept myself busy by observing the 4 chefs preparing the food. The food took some time to arrive perhaps they were really overwhelmed. Food quality wise, they were not bad. The fish and ingredients used were fresh and the presentation is very pleasing. Personally I feel it is slightly expensive if not for the happy hour promotion.

It is a mid-to-high-end sushi restaurant, with a few tastes particularly delicious, such as Hokkaido sea urchin, Otoro, Akami, and roasted salmon, but there are also a few that feel a little inexplicable, like completely roasted seagulls, it is a strange thing to eat.

Arashi Sushi, this is a sushi specialty store. The sushi tastes of their home are indeed rich and varied. I compared a few tastes in the store with the signature brands. I ordered them one by one. Some were delicious and some were average, but in general it was not bad.

Arashi is one of my favorite neighborhood spots. It is not fancy or expensive, which I very much enjoy. The fish is very good and the service is always timely and accurate. They have a great selection of rolls (including some with no rice) and have recently added some new grilled options as well. The spicy tuna on crispy rice is a must! The calamari and mushroom appetizer is also delicious. Happy hour deals are really great and goes until 8pm.
