The small temple on the roadside is not very impressive, but it has a long history. It is located not far from the intersection of Htilominlo Pahto. There is a temple worth visiting. This temple is called Upali Thein. It was built in the 13th century and has a small spire in the middle of the rectangular structure. Similar buildings of the same era were made of wood and decayed in the waves of history. The pagoda is famous for its exquisite murals, which were redrawn during the Gongbang Dynasty in the 17th and 18th centuries and are still very colorful. The murals depict the images of 28 Buddhas, as well as the stories of Buddha Bensheng. The Upali Monastery is absolutely one of the unique Pagoda in Pugange, if you just look at the shape of the honeycomb. Against the blue sky, the view is quite good. However, there is still a slight complaint here, that is, in the hot sun, barefoot walking between the various Pagoda, is also a kind of practice!!
