St. Peter's Church Review

St. Peter's Church is situated at 166, Lorong Bendahara, Kampung Bukit China, Malacca.Established in 1710, a Christian church which is the oldest functioning Roman Catholic Church in Malaysia. The church is very well maintained and has beautiful environment.

St. Peter's Church is also a very good environmental characteristics. The facilities of the whole church are more traditional. You can see a lot of good architectural features and environment. There is also a rich history and culture in the church. The church can enter the interior for free.

St. Peter's Church, a historical monument, the imprint of ancient culture, originally oh European sailors came to the land of Malacca, bringing here the culture of Europe at the time, the new things of Europe.

One of the oldest church in Malacca, a historic building recognized by UNESCO. The church is closed other than mass timings. Tourist may check with the premise before visiting. I didn’t enter the church as the gate was closed but can see some renovation/restoration of the building was made here. We need to maintain the upkeep of historic building.

The Christian Church, built in 1753, is a Dutch-style building. The most exquisite work of art in the church is the fresco "Last Supper" above the altar.
