Sandy Beach Review

Sandy Bach Park, located in the eastern part of Honolulu, Oahu Island, is a famous body surfing Resort and one of the most dangerous beaches on the island, where many people are injured every year. Barack Obama used to surf on this beach. Although there are lifeguards here, they don't recommend you to go into the water to play during the big wave season, and lifeguards will discourage you. They also need to be vigilant on the beach, because sometimes a big wave suddenly overwhelms you. There are toilets and showers on the shore, and you can buy drinks and food in a moving dining car on weekends. Next to it is a large lawn, Wawamalu Beach Park, equipped with picnic tables, and a reef-filled Queen s Beach. It's also part of the Koko Head extinct volcano, formed by magma eruption into the sea, which has lasted for more than 30,000 to 35,000 years. In 2014, Stanley Chang, a Chinese member of the then Honolulu City Council, suggested that the Sandy Beach be renamed President Obama Beach, but it was unsuccessful because of public confrontation.
