The airport shuttle bus took about 40 minutes to arrive at the destination: IBIS Auckland. Originally intended to do CHECK IN, the hotel stipulated that it must be checked in after 12 o'clock, so I had to store my luggage first, and then stroll around with my companions. The hotel is in a good location, located in the city center, diagonally opposite St. Patrick's Church. Some of the streets of Auckland are built on the mountain, so walking, you will feel that you are climbing for a while, and down for a while, like the alleys of Qingdao, completely unsuitable for cycling. Walk to the landmark Sky Tower for only 5 minutes. You will pass Queen Street along the way. Go further and you will see the famous ferry building, not far from the yacht pier. By the way, the Mofanbi ice cream shop opposite the ferry building is recommended. If you have time, you can try it. If you have time, you can also go to the Navigator New Zealand Maritime Museum to see it, about 5 minutes walk. The Hilton Hotel opposite is very special, white, and looks like a giant aircraft carrier from a distance, quite imposing. Go along Quay Street, and the end is Princes Wharf. Auckland is known as the capital of thousands of sails, and one in every three families is said to have a yacht. There are hundreds of private yachts and sailboats moored here, and the family goes out to sea on weekends to relax, fish and enjoy themselves.
