The Governor's House of Merida was the residence and office of the Spanish colonial governor. Now it is the municipality of Merida. Tourists can visit most of the area, and the building itself has a strong Spanish style. Although the light green building on the edge of the cathedral is only two floors, it is a good place to showcase Mayan culture for free, as is the historical museum on the side, and it is also a great angle to shoot the cathedral.
