National Museum, the first floor introduces the language and traditional national artifacts of Myanmar. Before I started, I tried to learn some basic Burmese, but then I only learned hello and thank you. A single word syllable in Burmese is very long and super hard to remember; Moreover, the writing in Myanmar is called the Moon Text, because there are circles everywhere, it is super difficult to remember, I tried to memorize the writing of the consonant once, and forgot the next day, let alone how to put together the vowel and messonography. Myanmar and Thai, Khmer and Yi are homologous writing systems, so the result of not being translated into Latin Roman alphabet is that the learning threshold is relatively high. This exhibition only makes me feel that I want to give up the motivation to learn languages from the beginning. Other items include decorations, costumes, performing arts, paintings and living utensils. I think the five-story exhibition is quite rich, but I don't like the content and theme of the curatorial exhibition too much. The curation of cultural relics should be more detailed, not the big theme direction close to directly throw in and put on a full display. After all, national museums should be more high-level, and if all collections are spread out without curation, it seems like some unskilled fellow.
