Bandurah Park is named after General Bandurah, a national hero who fought against British colonialists. The independence monument in the center of the park is49.5 meters high, like a sword piercing the sky, symbolizing the sanctity of Myanmar's freedom and independence. Also told future generations about the heroic deeds of General Bandurah in his fight for independence from Myanmar. The annex to Bandurah Park is very close to the Sureif Tower, surrounded by various heritage buildings, including the Parliament Building, the Government Administration Building, the Supreme Court, and the Christian Church. Bandurah Park is a large park with green grass and tourists. It is not only a punch-in place where tourists from all over the world flock to, but also a good place for Yangon citizens to relax and play. Outside Bandurah Park, the whole street is full of roadside stalls.
