Fisherman's Wharf is roughly in the area from Goradley Square (Ghirardelli Square) in the northern waters of San Francisco to Pier 35, the most famous of which is Pier 39. [1] Many shopping centers and restaurants are located in the conveniently located Fisherman's Wharf area, while many local restaurants offer a wide variety of seafood, including Dunjeness crab and stew broth. Attractions along Fisherman's Wharf include San Francisco Ocean National Historical Park, Goradley Square and the Machinery Museum. Many large events are also held in the Fisherman's Wharf area, including the United States National Day (July 4) fireworks display.
