The Rogananda Buddha is located on the edge of the Irrawaddy River in southwest Bagan, near New Bagan. It was built in 1059 AD during the reign of King Sheanuld, and it is dedicated to a replica of the Buddha's teeth given to Anuld by the Sri Lankan king. With the influence of the early Bagan Dynasty, people in the surrounding area took a boat to the temple to worship. It is still used as a place for daily worship, although the tower temple is not large. It is also a great place for tourists to watch the sunset of the Irrawaddy River.
