Qingfu Palace is located in the prosperous Yangon Chinatown, although the space is not large, but in a foreign country to see the buildings rich in Chinese color, it is really a different feeling, so you go to the Chinatown, on the way to visit it! __________

A century-old Chinese temple, after renovation, no traces of history can be seen from the appearance. The temple is full of incense, and the interior decoration is similar to other Chinese temples. If you live nearby, you can go there, but you don't have to make a special trip. There is a Guanyin Temple next to Yangon Chinatown, which looks quite simple. There are wooden carvings of boats in the temple, which is the clear evidence that Guangdong immigrants come to Yangon by sea. However, the disappointment of the rough brows is that no Cantonese can be heard in the temple...

Yangon Chinatown Qingfu Palace Chinese third generation, the fourth generation has been assimilated to speak Burmese, rarely heard the familiar Chaoshan dialect, Fujian dialect. The Silk Road for thousands of years still depicts the chapter of the times. Mazu Temple, Guanyin Temple and Chinese are everywhere. It tells us about the spirit of the previous generation of Chinese people who worked hard overseas and stood firm and unshakable - amp; cautious pursuit of distances and homesickness. Now, how can we defeat the small trade barriers?

Next to it is China City, the faith center of the Chinese people, and the night market next to it. If you have time, you can come and walk

Qingfu Palace was built in 1861 in Xianfeng, Qing Dynasty. It was funded by Fujian immigrants from Yangon and Chinese shipping companies. It was also the seat of Fujian fellow townsmen association. Because most of the Fujian immigrants were engaged in sea-related work at that time, the main worship of the Qingfu Palace was Mazu. The overall structure of the Qingfu Palace follows Fujian tradition. It is said that the building materials of that time were specially transported from Fujian to Myanmar. Apart from Mazu statues, Guan Gong is worshipped on the left and Baosheng Emperor is worshipped on the right. Like the ancient temple of Guanyin, Fujian immigrants hold celebrations at the Qingfu Palace in the way their ancestors taught them during the traditional festival.
