We made a two-week excursion from Accra to Wli and Kumasi, we visited a very nice art market and it was not as noisy as the one in Accra by comparison. We went on to Moore National Park where we saw the load of elephants. Our guide, Michael of "Grounds Travel Ghana" also recommended us to Kacun National Park and Cape Coast Castle, the best experience ever. The biggest difference is that we had a superb guide. Cheers~~~

Kakum National Park is Ghana's national park, located 30 km north of the central Cape Coast, covering 375 square kilometers, established in 1960, the entire park is covered by tropical rainforests, even the entrance is covered by tropical rainforests. The park was established to protect the region's rainforests and flora and fauna, with many rare animals including Mona cats, dwarf elephants, African buffalo, spirit cats, and more than 300 birds and more than 500 butterflies. To effectively protect the area's rainforests and make it easy for visitors to visit, the park built a 131-foot-tall aerial canopy passage in the mid-1990s. This rickety air plank road hanging in the rainforest connects the top of the canopy of each tree. The canopy passage is 40 meters from the ground and consists of 7 suspension bridges. It is 330 meters long. The biggest feeling of standing on it is trembling and shaking, and if you look down, there will be a little terror. The feeling after passing the 330-meter canopy channel is excitement, very exciting, and there is an urge to try again. Kakum National Park - Kakum National Park must go reason: Ghana's most exciting national park attractions are located on the continent: Africa [Africa] Attractions are located in the country/region: Ghana [Ghana] Attractions are located in the province, state: Central region [Central Region]

There is a very famous national park on the corner of Ghana's coast, which is Kakum National Park. It is densely forested and hangs a high-altitude suspension bridge between the woods. You can walk between the canopy and enjoy the beautiful scenery around. This way of visiting is unique. It’s in this national park that it’s really interesting.
