What a quiet lane. The Yellow Lane is south of the Tower Lane. Across the South Rear Street, it is connected with the East and west of Yijin Square. During the reign of Jin Yongjia, Huang family members of the Central Plains fled into Fujian and settled down here, so they were called Huangxiang. Huang Pu returned to live here in seclusion in Tang Dynasty. Huang Chao Army entered Fuzhou and ordered soldiers to "extinguish the torch" after hearing Huang Pu's name. Many scholars of Confucianism lived in the lane, gathering humanities.
