Interesting stone column carvingsI happened to walk past this heritage temple in Jalan Muntri on my way home. I especially liked the carved stone columns. It was deserted and no one was about. Might drop in when it is next open. Well over 120 years old.

The Tianhou Palace in Malaysia, this is an iconic temple of the local Chinese in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. There are many people who come to worship the Mazu statue and the Guanyin Bodhisattva every day. This can be said to be a gathering place for Chinese people. The last time I went inside, almost all of them were Chinese.

The Temple of the Hou is an important religious place. There are many locals stationed here, all residents for many years. There is a rich structure in the interior of the Temple of the Hou. The structure of the palace is also very simple. You can visit it outside.

Tianhou Palace is a very iconic and long-standing Chinese temple in Malaysia. During the Spring Festival, many Chinese people go there to gather full of Chinese New Year's flavor as if they were in China. Even more, the air here is full of Chinese homesickness.

The Tianhou Palace in Penang, also known as the Qiongzhou Guild Hall, was originally called the Hainan Guild Hall. In the early years, all the materials for building the Guild Hall were shipped from China to Penang. Today, the building was rebuilt in 1895, mainly to worship the patron god of seafarers, Mazu. The traditional custom is that on the occasion of Mazu's birthday, believers will kill pigs and slaughter sheep in celebration. The scene is very lively...

It is the tradition of Fujian people to pay homage to God on the 8th evening of the beginning of the year, which is also the most lively day of the New Year.

Tianhou Palace is a small temple, which we saw accidentally when we passed by the roadside. The building is very characteristic, and it is better preserved than the domestic one. Like other guildhalls, it retains a strong traditional element, Nanyang Chinese style.
