We were on the way to Wushan, passing through Fahai Temple, No. 1 Fahai Road, time is limited, so we did not visit the temple, just took a few photos outside. Fahai Temple is located in the center of Fuzhou City, north of the bustling Jintai Road, Nantong Yushan, Wuyi Square, the mountain gate of the temple is on the side of Fahai Road, Fahai Road is named for Fahai Temple. There is Zhao Puchu's book "Fahai Temple" on the door, which is the seat of Fujian Province and Fuzhou Buddhist Association. Fahai Temple was founded in the fifth generation after the second year of the Jin Kaiyun (945), by the Tao Xian Buddhist monk to create here, the first name "Xingfuyuan", the Northern Song Dynasty Dazhong Xiangfu years (1008 ~ 1016 years) renamed Fahai Temple, has a history of more than 1,000 years. For more than a thousand years, the temple has experienced the vicissitudes of life, and there have been a rise and fall on the generation. Song Zhenghe seven years (1117) was changed to Taoist Temple, known as "Shenzhen Palace". Shortly thereafter, it was restored to the Buddhist Temple. In the Ming Dynasty, the temple was once occupied by Hao Qiang as a private villa. It was only after the Wanli period that the old view was restored. After that, it was occupied by the folks for a long time. It was not until 1928 that Yuanxuan Master presided over Xuefeng Chongsheng Temple that Fahai Temple was reclaimed and rebuilt as the lower house of Xuefeng. In 1948, the loyal monk founded "Fahai Middle School" to recruit poor and out of school young people, and cultivated a number of talents for the society. After the founding of New China, the Buddhist Associations of Fujian Province and Fuzhou City were located in the temple. In the "Cultural Revolution", all the furnishings of the Buddha statues were damaged, and the houses were occupied by factories and organs. After 1976, the religious policy was implemented, the temples were returned to the Buddhist community and renovated. In the early morning of February 7, 2011, Fuzhou Millennium Temple Fahai Temple had a fire, and the fire was extinguished an hour later, causing no casualties. The main buildings of Fahai Temple are Shanmen, Temple of Heavenly Kings, Grand Xiongbao Temple, Grand Pavilion, Suihua Building, and guest rooms. Fahai Temple is mainly famous for the murals in the temple. After more than 500 years, the six walls of the Grand Xiongbao Palace of Fahai Temple have been completely preserved in nine extremely exquisite murals of the Ming Dynasty.
