Admission is free at this wonderful museum. Even special exhibits are free. The permanent collection includes an impressive range of regional and international works from many eras. However, we were fortunate to be here for the fantastic temporary exhibit "The Maori Portraits", featuring over 100 portraits of chiefs and other important people from 1800 to the 1900's in New Zealand. Although this show runs only until February 19, 2017, there are bound to be other equally impressive exhibits. The pop-up shops (related to temporary exhibits) and the regular gift shop are very nice.

我在奥克兰多呆了一天，参观这个美术馆是我多项计划中的一个。我主要是去看18世纪毛利族人的画，但我也设法对一些现代艺术有了初步的了解。尽管毛利人的画很少，但人们可以很容易地花一个小时欣赏这些画。美术馆也有一个小咖啡馆，但关门很早。在奥克兰短暂停留期间，我很高兴有机会参观这个地方。

这个美术馆里面大部分都是一些非常现代的一些作品了，比如说有一些抽象的艺术作品，一些照片什么的，所以对我来说可能兴趣就没那么大了。
