hs agoI went to WA Art Gallery yesterday. I attended the special exhibition "Botanical..." It had colourful exhibit. They had audio information via earphones & texts on each exhibition items. I like reading the info & spending time admiring the beautiful exhibits. If you have not been give it a try & enjoy the atmosphere.
A few interesting pieces, probably something for most tastes, would not make a special trip, but as good as any
One of the many great free things to do in Perth (a donation for entry is appreciated if you’re feeling socially conscious), this houses an extensive collection of historic and modern art. Special exhibitions (some have an entry fee) run regularly, and tours, talks, workshops and other events run regularly (check the website).
I wouldn't call myself an art guru but I did check the place out when they had a collection from the New York Museum of Modern Art here. It was one of their busiest days and it still didn't feel crowded, the permanent collection was interesting as well. Worth a look on a rainy day.
