南街海港位于曼哈顿的最南端了,这里也是特别繁华热闹的地方的。周围的建筑很多,不过在南街海港这里的景色也是不错的,可以坐船出海去欣赏自由女神像等地方的东张西望望东西

Located next to the Brooklyn Bridge, the South Street Seaport used to be the busiest port in New York City. Now it has been remodeled and has become a recreational area for locals under the skyscrapers. Entering the South Street Pier, you can first see several tall sailboats docked at Pier 16. They are the "Peking" brig in 1885 and the "Pioneer" in 1908 and other six sailboats. The sailboats make up the South Street Seaport Museum, and you can buy a ticket to visit it, or you can take a boat tour to explore New York's harbor. The more prosperous part of the South Street Seaport is at Pier 17, where there is an open-air stage and there are performances every day. During the holidays, there are more street performers, and the performances are very rich. Every year on November 27, the "South Street Harbour Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration" is held here, which has been held for 27 sessions.
