Visited Barbalu on a Thursday. It is a nice little restaurant, with a relaxed atmosphere. Menu is small, but has enough variation. We asked for a mixed platter of meat and cheese antipasti. Only 22USD, definitely enough fot the both of us. Tasted really nice. We both had a pasta as a main, tasted great. Nice selection of wines. You can get agood botle for under 50USD. Bartender makes amzazing cocktails. Definitely a place to go back to. The seaport area is really developing into a very nice area to have a drink and some food. Lots of nice restaurants now.

The store is not big. If you go early in the morning, you can sit by the window and see the traffic outside. It is quite interesting. I feel that many office workers nearby like to come here with a little bread and coffee. The price is also right.

We went here for a couple appetizers and drinks on a Saturday afternoon after a long day of walking. The restaurant is quite lovely and reminded us of old style NY. We made our way to the bar where we were greeted by the bartender Tomas. He was funny, helpful and we ended up talking and learning a lot about the city. He was a true treasure. It was a slow day so we ended up just hanging out and we had the best time. We just had bar apps but they were reasonably priced and very tasty.

老美吃牛排还是很豪爽的，美式牛排吃法就是切一块吃一块，和英式的讲究风度完全不同。这边牛排一端上来就是A4纸大小，3公分厚，旁边还配了大土豆，中国人大概一个人完全吃不了，但是不得不说熟成后的肋眼牛排还是很香的。
