A long covered bridge over a pristine river
Enjoyed admiring and walking inside a long covered bridge and along the bank of a pristine river. Spotted black phoebe and ruby-crowned kinglet along the path.
South Yuba
One of my favorite spring wildflower walks is along the South Yuba. It's always inspiring and beautiful in any season.

Great swimming hole!
A short climb over the rocks and you can have a private swimming area. Lots of places to dive also. Some people even jump off the bridge!
Beautiful River
On a hot day this is the place to go. We arrived before the crowds, found a good swimming hole, and enjoyed floating in the warm water for a couple hours. Parking is now $10. Clean outhouse.
