Luxor Temple

Go at night to visit this famous temple in Luxor. It will be very crowded, but it will be cooler and the lights make everything very attractive. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes because the ground is uneven and you will want to make sure you do not slip. Going with a tour guide is recommended, they will be able to explain what you are seeing so you can fully appreciate the Temple. Reduced admission is available for Egyptian Citizens and students if they have an ID.This is a must do if you are in Egypt.

The temple has statues of King Tutankhamun and his queen ( who married his sister). There is also a scene showing Alexander accepting sperm from God indicating he is gay. Others worship this scene to bless the possibility of getting a child. It was fun.

Located on the Nile River in Luxor, the Luxor Temple is basically within walking distance of any location in the city, the Temple itself is not very extensive, the rear section of the Temple has been opened for use as a mosque, the Temple has lights at night and is appreciated from the surrounding restaurants

Luxor Temple was rebuilt by Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom of Ancient Egypt on the site of the temple built by Queen Hatshepsut. It has a history of more than 3,000 years. Luxor Temple is one of the most famous ancient Thebes monuments, and one of the relatively well-preserved temples. Luxor Temple is dedicated to the goddess Mute, the wife of Amun, and it is also the residence of Amun. In ancient Egypt, there was a grand annual welcoming festival of Opel, and the statues of Amon, Mute and Kongs would be carried on the sun boat from Karnak Temple to Luxor Temple.

Between the huge pillars stood huge statues of gods, not one god, but many characters, which is also very rare in Egypt. This temple also has a strong sense of scale and thick pillars.
