Must visit Ancient Egyptian Temple
#2023TravelWish #vianasjourney #awesomepic
We visited Luxor temple as part of our Nile cruise trip. The Luxor temple is one of the main attractions of Luxor and is located in the middle of Luxor on the east bank of the Nile. The impressive statues and structures definitely makes this place worthwhile to visit. I would recommend visiting the temple during the evening, as the temperature cools down a bit. The lightened up statues during the evening paint an beautiful image. From the Luxor temple it is also possible to take a close look at the Avenue of Sphinxes that connects Luxor temple with the Karnak temple complex.

Luxor temple
Luxor temple is located at Luxor city. There are many people to visit this temple (field trip for children, tourists and local people). There are many students who study about drawing and they are painting the structure of the temple. Their drawings are so beautiful and creative. At the entrance, you can see many birds (I guess they are pigeons) over there,so you can take picture while birds are flying. #mytripvlog #egypt #luxor

Getting There - we got there by bus - then walked for a few minutes and there we were at the most sought after place for instagram pictures ( Karnak Temple) .
Attractions - The many columns and the Rams that give people the most beautiful pictures .
Hotels - We were staying at the King Tut 1 cruise boat , which was beautiful and very convenient in terms of the trip organisation .
Food & Restaurants - There are many restaurants in Luxor that you will enjoy and the best part for me was the sugar cane juice and some tasty street falafel.

Beautiful Karnak Temple in Egypt
It’s worth to book a trip to Egypt only to visit the Karnak temple. Its so awesome!!! It was great to be able to discover the history from this place. 👏🏻 Many pharaohs have been here. The entrance fee is less than 5 dollars and you have some restaurants near to it. Don’t forget to take a water bottle cause it can be very hot inside. You will forever remember the Temple of Karnak!

The oldest city in Egypt, a mysterious miracle thousands of years ago! Shocked to say no words
Luxor is the lowest-tune city in Egypt. It was known as the capital of the hundred gates thousands of years ago and stands proudly in the world. Those magnificent temples are undoubtedly the best witnesses of the Pharaoh civilization.
It is said that each stone statue is up to several tens of meters, and the lotus relief on the lotus relief symbolizes the unity of the upper and lower Egypt. They are like historical comic strips, hiding ancient secrets. Between the broken walls and the ruins, history has never been like smoke.
Tips: The temple is the best light before 9am, you can wear a bright red dress gown and sway between the pillars; after noon, the shadows are slowly skewed and the shadow area is over Big, but not easy to produce.

Stunning view on Sunset over Luxor city, Egypt.
Nile river, Hatshepsut temple and valleys of the Kings.
Amazing experience!! Worth it to wake up 4am ❤️🖤
Luxor was amazing! The Valley of the Kings, Tut’s Tomb, and so many other sites to visit. I took a day trip from Hurghada and it was well worth the drive down and back. I’d suggest hiring a driver because roads outside of the main cities have there own “Egyptian driving rules” that foreigners aren’t familiar with like not using headlights at night. Definitely bring lots of water with you!

If you want to find a way to cross the soul, Luxor must be one of the must. From the birth of the East Coast to the reborn West Bank, the Ramses family, and the story of Tutankhamun, we have been guiding our travels. Life and death, what is it? For the ancient Egyptians, the most serious deaths and souls have become so light. Eternity, the term, suddenly became ridiculous in the temple of the sun in the hot sun.
In Luxor we went to a stone carving workshop. Yes, they did give a small educational talk, which was interesting. They explained the differences in various types of stone in the area and showed examples of how items were made. Of course, they want you to buy, so be ready to bargin, hard. #wintergetaway

Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut
The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut is a mortuary temple of Ancient Egypt located near Luxor. Built for the Eighteenth Dynasty pharaoh Hatshepsut. It is considered as one of the most beautiful of all of the temples of Ancient Egypt. It is located at Deir el-Bahri which is in the left bank of the Nile river. The king of Egypt had to build tombs and temples to honour the gods and pharaohs and keep their memories alive for all time. Queen Hatshepsut gave the order to build this beautiful temple. She took about fifteen years to build the temple, which told the story of her life. Bring plenty of water and expect to spend between 1 to 2 hours visiting this place.

This is Egypt
I was so happy to visit Egypt. This is the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut in Luxor city. It was built during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut of the Eighteenth Dynasty. It is definitely HUGE and it was carved on the stones. 😱 The entrance fee cost less than 3 euros and you can go inside - unfortunately many os the statues inside were destroyed over time. Definitely worth the visit!

Ballon ride in Luxor/Egypt is a MUST
I was super scare about riding a ballon since I haven’t done it before but it’s a MUST. It is really cheap in Egypt comparing to other places in the world. We paid 60 dolares per person and it was amazing. It was completely safe. It is not scare at all! I’m usually scared about being high but I felt safe. Please ride a Ballon in your trip to Egypt. You can even see the Valley of the Kings, where they secret buried all the pharaohs. You will never forget it!

World Heritage Site:Temple of Hatshepsut
Visiting the Temple of Hatshepsut in Egypt is a regret if you don't, it is one of the landmark buildings in Egypt, standing on that ancient land for more than three thousand years, with high mountains behind the temple top, as if telling some ancient stories. This is a temple of the ancient Egyptian female pharaoh, and its mortuary temple is located east of the Valley of the Kings. It is also the only three-story temple in ancient Egypt. Perhaps she lacked confidence in her pharaoh status, so she carved the relief of "commanded by heaven" in front of the temple gate.
The temples of Egypt are everywhere, it seems that every pharaoh is keen to build temples to show their nobility and authority. Hatshepsut is no exception, her temple is in the form of a memorial hall, built by her subjects to commemorate her great achievements during her reign. The Queen's Temple is located deep in the Valley of the Queens, built on three terraces, with a 100-foot causeway leading to the top of the temple, which is 30 meters high. The walls of the temple also display important life events of the female pharaoh, and the relief on the central balcony of the temple symbolizes the divine birth of Hatshepsut.
The entire temple is situated in a valley surrounded by perilous cliffs. Its simple yet imposing design seems to symbolize the unparalleled pride of Egypt's only queen, as well as her indelible role in Egyptian history. The temple not only represents the queen's authority, but is also another ancient temple dedicated to love, with the difference being that this time the protagonists are not a pharaoh and his wife, but a female pharaoh and her childhood sweetheart. The temple of Queen Hatshepsut is grand and magnificent, sculpted from sandstone to showcase the male image of Queen Hatshepsut, with exquisite and delicate carvings.

Hot Air Balloon in Luxor
This was the activity that we were looking forward to the most! And it was EPIC!!! Just WOW WOW WOW!!! Getting up early and waiting to get the go ahead that they can start the balloons and get ready, all the anticipation was super exciting! And it did not disappoint! Don't miss out on a Hot Air Balloon ride over the temples of Luxor and a beautiful Sunrise with all the other hot air balloons in the air. Depends on the trip that you book but most if not all of the places will come pick you up at the hotel, put you on a motorboat on the Nile to get to the site and afterwards they drop you off at your hotel. I felt like a kid in a candy shop about this, it's really amazing don't miss out!
