About Luding: Luding County is located in the west of Sichuan Province. It is situated between the Qionglai and Daxue Mountain Ranges, with the Dadu River flowing across the entire county from north to south. The Luding county seat has over 2000 years of history. One special occasion was when the Kangxi Emperor gifted the county with “Luding Bridge.” The site became a famous tourist attraction after the Red Army won a glorious victory there and tourists come from all over because of its glorious reputation. There are also Han, Tibetan, and other ethnic minorities living in Luding, so the county gives tourists a chance to experience different ethnic customs.
