The Sunset Boulevard, lined on both sides with towering palm trees and clad in legions of billboards, is a scene filmed in numerous movies and TV shows. The Boulevard is truly at its most splendid at sunset, when the road takes on a dreamlike quality steeped in golden rays emitted by the setting sun and all is tinged with orange by car lights in an illusory haze. A stroll all the way to the beach unveils even more mesmerizing views.
