LA is the city of stars without any doubt. The city simply has a special vibe: From the iconic Hollywood sign to the chilled Venice Beach! We always love to visit Los Angeles.
The most iconic sign in the whole world! This is the perfect hike to get an unobstracted view of the Hollywood Sign.
The Hollywood sign is an iconic landmark in Los Angeles’ Griffith Park. Built in 1923 by a housing developer, the sign originally read “Hollywoodland” and served as an advertisement for a new development in the Hollywood Hills. The sign’s uneven layout and stark white lettering have spawned imitations the world over, from Serbia to New Zealand to Indonesia. The city of Los Angeles proved its dedication to the sign in 2010 when a successful city-wide campaign was launched to save the sign and surrounding land from an ambitious developer.
