The streets of Knight Bridge are lined with many specialty stores and tourists. One drawback is that many buildings on Knight Bridge have been demolished and are being rebuilt behind its historical exterior walls, which will cause damage in the short term.

By the early 1930s, the British government was revitalizing the then-depressed economy, allowing Metro to push through a series of equipment renewal plans, and many stations in downtown London were able to replace old lifts with new escalators. Knightsbridge Station is one of the subway stations that benefit from the benefits. In order to enable the escalator to reach the platform directly, and to avoid excessive reconstruction and the impact on the operation of the subway, a new ticket hall and more channels were added to the underground intersection of Knightsbridge Road, Bmpton Road and Sloane Street. A new exit was also opened at the original station building on Bmpton Road and Sloane Street and the old exit was closed. In addition, due to crowds, an entrance to the west end of the platform was added near Harold Department Store, and a new ticket office was added to the west side of the escalator. However, the problem was not solved by widening the entrance until 2004.
