According to legend, during the Tang Dynasty (827-835), there was a monk named Zongzhi who sat in a cave before he entered the mountain and was blocked by a huge boulder. Suddenly there was an old man in white who claimed to be Shajialong, and came forward to salute and said: "The teacher is the founder of the mountain, and I have been waiting for him for a long time." Kai, Zongzhi cut the grass and thorns, opened up the land and opened the mountain, and named the mountain as "Daowu" and built the Taowu Temple. During the reign of Emperor Wenzong of the Tang Dynasty (827-840), it was the Great Buddhist Temple for protecting the country and rejuvenating China. Tourists in the past dynasties wrote a lot of inscriptions. Daowu Mountain is full of peaks and peaks, strange rocks are deep, and mountain springs are trickling. There are many historical sites on the mountain, and there are 24 scenic spots recorded by predecessors: Zushiyan, Lengquanjing, Huilong Bridge, Yinlupine, Hangjian Spring, Laolongtan, Mingyue Lake, Tornado Field, Tiger Climbing Hill, Lotus Peak, Xinghua Temple, Bailongquan, Wulaofeng, Luohan Cave, Baihe Mountain, Hangbang Mountain, Wushan Xueji, Lost Horse Bridge, Dragon-shaped Stone, Chessboard Stone, Lei Pi Stone, Dingxin Bridge, and Peixiu Pavilion. Xinghua Temple is located at the foot of Lianhua Peak in Daowu Mountain. The book on the mountain gate reads: "Xinghua Temple", and there is a horizontal plaque with "Historic Sites in Lakes and Mountains". In the east and west, there are two other temples, Garan and Land. The middle is the main hall, about 12 meters high, with three bays on the front, 26 meters wide and 20 meters deep. In the hall, there are wooden statues of Sakyamuni sitting, with Gaya and Ananda statues next to them, and clay statues of twenty-four gods and eighteen Arhats on both sides. The four walls of the abbot's room are inscribed with poems from ancient and modern tourists. When Tan Sitong was a child, he wrote a poem in praise of Wushan: "The sunset loves the tall trees, and the twilight enters the green peaks. The ancient temple is surrounded by cranes, and the moon in the empty pool shines with dragons. The dust disappears a hundred feet of waterfalls, and the heart breaks with a bell." In 1958, the Liuyang County People's Government A reservoir was built here, and Xinghua Temple was demolished. It is about 2.5 kilometers from the foothills of Daowu Mountain to Xinghua Temple. There are pines and cypresses on both sides, all of which are vigorous and straight. This is the leading pines. According to legend, it was planted by the abbot of Xinghua Temple in the Ming Dynasty. There were 365 original pine trees, and more than 200 trees still existed before 1930. The central part of Chen Guang was stationed here to build fortifications to prevent the Red Army from attacking and cutting down more than 100 ancient pine trees. Since then, they have been deforested one after another. Today, there are 100 remaining plants, but they are still vigorous. Each plant has a diameter of two or three people and is more than 10 meters high. After the Daowu Mountain Reservoir was built, although many scenic spots and landscapes have ceased to exist in name only, they have added a bit of lake and water color, which makes tourists interested.
