The Cathedral of Lima is a Roman Catholic church. Construction began in 1535 and was first built in 1625. After many restorations and reconstructions, it still maintains the colonial architectural structure and appearance. The current building was completed in 1924. , designed by Polish architects, is considered a fine example of early twentieth-century neocolonial architecture in Lima.
