Worth the short climb, especially on sunny day.
Well worth short climb for 360’ view of Shropshire plain. Not easy to find way up (few signs) but discovering path part of the fun… Possibly best when visibility is good!!
A lovely walk. A monument to the Duke of Sutherland, who owned Lilleshall Hall (now the home of Team GB athletics) and Trentham Gardens. The Leveson-Gower family (pronounced Lewson-Gore) were advocate...
When you go up in the car the road is very narrow with very little parking at the top, however the view is magnificent and windy. You can see in all directions from the plinth.
Whilst the hill is quite high compared to the surroundings you can drive most of the way and then walk the last hundred yards up to the monument, its not difficult but there is no disabled access. ...

Excellent walk beautiful scenery. Level 3 walk lot of uphill. Besutiful in winter and summer. Views are stunning
