Photos of Dawa Mountain
Dawa Mountain stands on the north bank of the Jinkou Grand Canyon on the Dadu River in Leshan City, Sichuan Province, with an altitude of 3236 meters. Basalt and dolomite formed by Paleozoic volcanic eruptions covered the top of Dawa Mountain. Surrounded by cliffs ranging from 800 to 1,600 meters, only the Rolling Dragon Gang at the northern end can reach the top of the mountain through wooden ladders. Looking at Dawa Mountain from afar, it is like an abrupt castle in the sky, and it is like overlapping tiles covering the top of the mountains. . Dawa Mountain is composed of basalt from the Permian volcanic eruption. Its geological structure is the same as Emei Mountain and Wawu Mountain, so it is called "Three Wonders in Shuzhong". However, compared with Mount Emei and Mount Wawu, Dawa Mountain is more peculiar in landscape. Looking from the top of Emei Mountain, Dawa Mountain looks like a huge Noah's Ark, with its side towering in the sea of clouds. High-altitude flat-topped mountains like Dava Mountain are rare in China, and only the flat-topped mountain Roraima in Venezuela can be compared in the world. It is a rare natural wonder in the world.
