The huge metropolis of Nigeria, Lagos can be chaotic but also beautiful. Stretching from the Gulf of Guinea across Lagos Lagoon, head to Victoria Island to seek beach resorts, shopping and bars -- as well as the financial center of the city. Visit the National Museum Lagos to understand more about Nigerian culture through artifacts and crafts, or take in a concert at Freedom Park, a former prison that is now a big art venue.
Chloe MillerThis jungly-area is still in Lagos, and is good for an afternoon nature walk without having to really leave the city. Monkeys, peacocks will accompany you but you won't be coming face to face with any big game. Would be a good spot to bring kids.
Chloe MillerThe National Museum of Nigeria where you can delve into thousands of years of Nigerian art and culture. It's not presented like, say, the British Museum, so you have to work a little harder to understand what you're looking at. Worth it.
TINCAN ISLAND PORT, LAGOS 🚢
Is the 2nd busiest port in Lagos, Nigeria. The first busiest is Apapa Port. Mostly gloomy right in the afternoon, this port has a gorgeous Sunset. My boyfriend couldn't help himself and took these photos of the pretty Sunset.
Common citizens can also be seen riding a fishing boat around the area to catch fishes in the morning.
