Not a drum was heard…..
Full of emotion and a real must see for Brits to remember their part in the peninsula war. Good views too plus a bit of famous poetry. RIP Sir John Moore.
In the centre of a beautiful and quiet park, this tomb recalls the bravery of a great military leader who gave his life to save many. A great place nearby by his bust for a photo across the harbour.
I can’t recommend this ‘free’ tour enough. It was the Sir John Moore guided tour. The tour was in both Spanish and English. There were 15 people, 14 spoke Spanish and myself the only English speaking ...
This is the final resting place of general sir John Moore. He died fighting in defence of Spain in the service of the British government. Spanish people build a wonderful monument to John Moore.
