One-day tour in the suburbs of Kyoto
When going to Kyoto, Japan, there are several attractions in the suburbs. In order to reduce the hassle, I booked a small group for a one-day tour. The driver picked me up from the hotel in Osaka early in the morning, played for a day with my luggage, and disbanded in Kyoto after the end.
🗓Itinerary:
1, Arrive at Sanzenin at 10:30, visit and have lunch
2, Arrive at Kifune Shrine at 12:40
3, Arrive at Arashiyama Sagano Station at 14:15
4, Return to Kyoto with the group or disband on your own.
❤Recommended reasons:
1, Sanzenin is a Buddhist temple. As soon as you walk in, you can't help but calm down. It is still green in winter. The most special thing is that its green land is not grass, but covered with moss plants. The buildings in the courtyard are very elegant, and you can also order a set meal to have tea and snacks there. There are a row of small shops outside the door, selling pickles, specialties, restaurants, etc.
2, Kyoto's Kifune Shrine is the national headquarters, probably in charge of water, located on the side of the mountain, there are many restaurants along the way from the parking lot, and there is a small stream next to it. The red of Kifune Shrine is very bright and eye-catching, and it is very good for taking pictures against the backdrop of the forest. But this is a small attraction, suitable for handsome men and women to take pictures, you can stroll around in 30 minutes. If you are free, it may be difficult to come here specifically.
3, Arashiyama is a mountain on the west side of Kyoto. I was attracted by the beautiful scenery of the introduction map, I have to go! And I also bought a VIP seat on the small train! You can go out and play at the end, or you can return the same way. We bought round-trip tickets before departure, so we decisively returned to Kozan Station. There are obviously a lot more tourists here, everyone walks around and looks at the bamboo forest. On the way back to Sagano Station, there are many snack shops, and there is a small bread truck selling chocolate, many of which are Kyoto limited, and the price is not expensive.
4, Arashiyama to Kyoto can go to JR Sagano Station, it is very convenient to buy a ticket to Kyoto.
📝Note tips:
1, The problem is that the VIP seat of the Arashiyama small train has no windows and a transparent glass skylight (it's too dirty to see the sky clearly)! The ordinary seat is fully enclosed. Their VIPs can probably enjoy the fresh air and cold in the mountains. I sat in a seat that was twice as expensive as others, blowing the wind, and feeling the Arashiyama without snow and flowers. There are people boating under the mountain, slower than us, probably not so cold.
2, The small train allows everyone to see the overall scenery from a distance. The train passes through the tunnel and looks at both sides in the valley, which can save a lot of physical strength. Because there is a lake in the valley, the scenery seen by walking and boating must be different from the small train.
3, JR Sagano Station has lockers, our 2 20-inch boarding boxes are stuffed into one grid, reducing the burden for ourselves and playing more comfortably!
Overall, this route is mainly for sightseeing, supplemented by humanities, combining work and rest, and the elderly are under no pressure. It is not suitable for children. Arashiyama
Remember 2019.11 Kansai Late Autumn Festival~ The first monastery in Kyoto. Only by bus can you reach it. After getting off the bus, go all the way up, passing restaurants and small shops along the way. The scenery along the way is also very beautiful, not slow, come to the 3,000 courtyard, very simple doorway. Buy tickets for admission, take off your shoes after entering, and visit along the sign. The 3,000 courtyards are large, and all kinds of trees and red maples are quite spectacular. If you want to go all over the courtyard, all the viewing is in place, it feels like it will take more than half a day. The scenery is so beautiful that I will linger. You can also pray for blessings in the courtyard and buy Yushou. The first trip to choose to come to the 3,000 courtyard is a wonderful start. By the way, it was the peak lunch hour when I came out of the 3,000 courtyard. The restaurants at the door were all full, hungry, and quickly found another way out.
The ancient trees in Kyoto's Ohara Sanqianyuan are towering, moss is everywhere, red leaves in autumn, cherry blossoms in spring, hydrangea in summer, it is really a good attraction for the four seasons, and it is also an important cultural treasure in Japan.
The temple of Tiantai Zong, one of the Buddhist monasteries, was built in 1118. The main temple, the Amituo statue and the serpent statue on both sides, are key national cultural relics. The moss in the garden is densely populated with fir trees. There are about 3,000 purple sun flowers in the natural forest in the backyard. Every rainy season, flowers are in full bloom, and the scenery is intoxicating.
It's far away, but it's worth going, especially during the red leaf season.
Early in the morning, we drove to the gate of 3000 courtyards before 9 o'clock. As we expected, we did not meet any team or people. Although the 3000 courtyard is a famous place for rewarding maple trees, it is still unknown. But this does not affect the beautiful scenery of red leaves everywhere in the backyard hill. In the end, the two stone land public lands sprouted, like a quadratic element across time and space. There are three red bridges in the back hill. They are scattered in different places. The streams in the hill are flowing. Everywhere they turn around, they are small Buddhist halls and shrines. The moss is everywhere. It feels elegant enough. Three thousand courtyards also have a small museum, which can see many precious cultural relics and a complete Chinese character of Du Fu's "Quick Sentences", recalling childhood memories - "two Orioles Singing willows, a line of egrets on the blue sky. The window contains Qianqiu Snow in Xiling Mountains and Wu Wanli Boat in Menbo East.
The most beautiful scenic spot in Kyoto trip, though a little far away, is the farthest scenic spot in the northeast corner of Kyoto. JR Kyoto Station takes a one-hour bus from No. 16 and takes 20 minutes to get off along the stream. But it's really beautiful. There are few tourists here, very quiet, moss in the courtyard are well kept, and there are half-buried lovely places. Five-star recommendation.
The three thousand courtyards of Kyoto, far from the noise and loneliness, are situated in the three thousand courtyards in the northeast of Kyoto with a long historical background. There are many stone-people Zen meanings on the courtyards of Jinsong and moss everywhere. Every year, at the beginning of June, the purple-yang flower sacrifice is a kind of purple which attracts tourists from far and near to visit the park with different depths and shades. Yanghua blossom in mist and light drift as if you could hear their murmur ~3,000 courtyard of the United States four seasons different spring, summer, autumn, maple and winter snow fascinating ~~~warm reminder: in front of the Kyoto post, a bus can reach 50 minutes is very convenient ~
