I went up the hill to worship Kiyomizu-dera Temple. I expected that there would be few people due to the timeliness, but it was quieter than I expected. It was good to take a walk around, but most of the souvenir shops that I usually don't look at are closed, so I couldn't deny that I felt lonely.
This year was until August 7th ~ 10th. About 350 open air lined up. About 3.5 million people visit every year. In the past, I loaded a lot of pottery in Daihachi car, and on the last day I was in a state of throwing, but now I come by car and bring it back by car, so it won't be cheap even on the last day. It's cheaper than department store. There are even unique tableware and luxury items that are cheap. Before the number of families decreased, ... instead of buying 10 pieces of the same pattern.
I can't walk down the slope because there is a sightseeing bus parking lot

Gojozaka is the bus stop nearest to Kiyomizu-dera by using the city bus from Kyoto Station. It seems that many people change their costumes here when a rental kimono shop appears first. In addition, Shimizu ware shops are lined up. Basically, there is a sightseeing bus parking lot on Sakagami, so it is difficult to walk on the slope comfortably. Matsubara-dori is more crowded for shopping.
There is a branch between Pottery Zaka and Kiyomizuderazaka in the middle of Gojozaka, so it is recommended to climb from Pottery Zaka and visit the interesting Pottery Zaka, and then go down the lively Kiyomizuzaka to see Kiyomizudera.

Slope to Kiyomizu Dera temple
A slope to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. It's hard to walk because there is a lot of traffic and the road is narrow, but now there are few people in Corona.
They were fluttering in foreign languages.
