Visited for weekend sightseeing. Karuizawa is a museum in the Nagakura area. The works of Isaku Nishimura, the founder of Bunka Gakuin, are mainly exhibited. No admission ticket is required if you use the cafe.
I visited because it was a museum opened by the Bunka Gakuin. He is a little small artist and I forgot the exhibits inside, but I feel that photographs were on display because Le Corbusier had a relationship with the founder.
It is a nice museum built in a grove. When I visited, "Isaku Nishimura and his children" was held at a special exhibition. I was able to appreciate the work in a spacious exhibition room with high ceilings.
