Guxiang Park

Harbin Guxiang Park is located on the south bank of the Songhua River, built on the Guxiang Dam. The west of the river embankment is zero kilometers (Huaxing Street), and the east is Heluo Square (Songhuajiang Highway Bridge), with a total length of 2860 meters and an area of 37, 4 hectares. It is an open waterfront park. Early in the construction of the park, this is a earth dam, south by a mixed forest belt, north by the Songhua River, there is a grass beach under the embankment, overgrown grass, inaccessible, beautiful scenery, wild fun. Construction of the park began in 1987, consisting of two parts of flood control passageway and subdiy, with an area of 11 hectares of development, which was built and opened to the public in 1988; from April 2004 to 2006, the pine and cypress ecological park was renewed in three phases. The first batch of visitors were welcomed on September 30, 2004. The viewing area of the park has been increased to 37.4 hectares, and the viewing area of the four seasons garden has been formed - 11 hectares of flood control passages and subdiykes, and the viewing area under the pine and cypress ecological park -26.4 hectares. It is an important part of the 52 Huali Belt Park along the river in our city, and is a belt waterfront park integrating city dikes, garden construction and tourism.

Guxiang Park, built along the Hejiagou dike, is a free open urban belt park, just located on the dividing line between the old city of Harbin Daoli and Qunli New District. Because the management of Hejiagou has initially seen results, Guxiang Park is becoming more and more vibrant. It is suitable for public leisure sports.
